Are snacks and/or lunch provided?

• Students may bring their own lunches and snacks each day. Students may also elect to participate in the catered lunch service, providing healthy and sustainable lunch choices at a reasonable cost. Horizon Honors contracts with well-known restaurants to provide different food selections each day. Each student should also bring a water bottle.

Is before school or after school care available? 

• Yes! Horizon Honors Schools offers before and after school care for an additional fee. See our Club Horizon webpage for details.

How can I obtain details about the Early Learning Standards used in the Pre-K curriculum?

• The Arizona Department of Education developed these standards and are available through the State Department.

Do Pre-K at Horizon Honors students automatically receive enrollment in Horizon Honors Schools’ Kindergarten program?

• Pre-K at Horizon Honors is a private program held on the Horizon Honors campus, Horizon Honors Elementary School is public, charter school. Students in the Pre-K at Horizon Honors program will need to complete an enrollment application and participate in the lottery to attend Horizon Honors Elementary School’s Kindergarten program.
